We are proud to announce that Lagniappe Montessori and Children's Center will be licensed as a Class B Center and regulated by the
Louisiana Department of Social Services.

The Primary Class

The Primary class is for children ages 2-1/2 through 5. The classrooms will be equipped with child-sized furniture and shelving designed to
fit the needs of all children. They will contain a full range of Montessori materials with special additional materials to enhance the child's learning
experience and ensure Kindergarten readiness. Starting August 8, 20ll, we will include Kindergarten. The Lead Teacher has a Montessori
teaching certificate from North American Montessori Center. All teachers and assistants will be trained in Montesorri Methods. The classrooms
will meet the standard student teacher ratio with one teacher and two assistants. This student-teacher ratio ensures that each child's specific
educational, social, and emotional needs are addressed. A child is eligible to enter the Primary Class upon potty training or 2-1/2 years of age.
The Pre-K program runs from August to May, but a Summer Camp is available for June and July.

Elementary

Currently, we have grades kindergarten through 4th grade. Teachers are state certified and hold at least Bachelor's Degrees in Education.

that parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend. We visit the parish library twice each month and have a story/craft time with the director
of the Children's Library. Class sizes are limited to 10 students per grade. Meals and snacks are included in monthly tuition. We follow the La.
State Department of Educations guidelines for days/minutes of instruction.

each day. The program will be supervised by a certified elementary teacher. Activities will include homework help, inside and outside recrea-
