Charlene Williams
is the owner and Executive Director of LMCC.  In addition
to her administrative duties, she teaches in the Lower Elementary classroom and
tutors and assists with homework in the After School Enrichment Program.  Mrs.
Charlene  has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education, a Master's
Degree in Early Childhood Curriculum and Instruction, as well as teaching certificates
for the Primary and Infant/Toddler Montessori classes. Both degrees were obtained
from Louisiana Tech University, and the Montessori training was acquired through
the North American Montessori Center. Before opening LMCC, Mrs. Charlene
taught for 16 years in various schools throughout Webster Parish.  She is considered
'Highly Qualified' by the State Board of Education in Jr. High Math. Mrs. Charlene
also has a National Administrator Credential. 

Melissa Gruner
was hired as the Director of LMCC in April, 2010.  In addition to
her duties as the director,  she assists with the After School Enrichment Program
each afternoon by transporting the students and providing homework help.  Prior to
her work here, Ms. Melissa was employed as a Lead Teacher in a toddler class and
as a director in an area childcare facility.  She has her National Administrator
Credential, and she received certification as a Primary Montessori Teacher through
the North American Montessori Center.   



Pam Payne is one of the lead teachers in the Primary Class.  She has been working
in a Montessori school for the past 9 years, three of which have been at LMCC. 
Mrs. Pam has spent her adult life volunteering her talents with children and youth in
Medical Camps, with 4-H activities, and as an archery coach for the National Alliance
for Youth Sports.  She is a certified Montessori teacher and received her Primary
Montessori Teaching Certificate from the North American Montessori Center.


Debra Spillers
has been a lead teacher at LMCC since August, 2010, and she
currently teaches in a Primary classroom.  Mrs. Debra received her Montessori
Teaching Certificate from the North American Montessori Center.  Prior to joining
the staff at LMCC, she worked as a pre-school teacher and Art Director.  Mrs.
Debra is a loving mother and grandmother who has devoted her life to the care and
education of young children. 



Charlotte Wingfield is the Business Administrator.  She has thirty years experience
in business management.  Mrs. Charlotte was a partner and the president of Cellxion,
LLC in Bossier City, LA until her retirement in the fall of 2008.  She has been a
director on the Northwest Louisiana Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation Board for five years and currently serves as president.  In her capacity
as Business Administrator for Lagniappe Montessori & Children's Center, she is
responsible for business development and finance.  


Mrs. Melissa Lingenfelter
is our kindergarten teacher, and she also assists with
instruction for grades 1-4 in the afternoon.  Melissa received her Bachelor’s Degree
in Education from Louisiana Tech University in 1997.  She taught for ten years in the
public school system before staying home to start her family. Mrs. Melissa's two
children are now students here at LMCC, which inspired her return to the teaching
field in 2012. 


Mrs. Dana Brown is our first grade teacher. She received her Bachelor of Science
in Early Childhood Education from Louisiana Tech University in 2008.  In addition
to this, Mrs. Dana received her Lower Elementary Montessori certification from the
North American Montessori Center in 2012. She has one year of Montessori
teaching experience as well as four years of substitute teaching experience in the
public schools.

Ms. Claire Rathbun has been a part of LMCC since August, 2010, as an assistant
teacher in the Primary Class.  She has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood
from Bossier Parish Community College.  In addition to caring for the children at
LMCC, Ms. Claire has been an Au Pair for a family with four girls for the past
10 years.  

Ms. Ashley Anderson joined the staff of LMCC in August, 2011, as an assistant
teacher in the Primary Class.  She received an Associate's Degree in General
Studies from Bossier Parish Community College.  Prior to her work here, Ms.
Ashley worked at an in-home day care for four years teaching basic learning skills
such as letter names and sounds and shapes. 
Ms. Shay Miller has been an assistant teacher in the Primary Class at LMCC since
March, 2012.  She also assists with tutoring in the After School Enrichment Program. 
During the summers, Ms. Shay is the lead teacher for the students ages 6-12 who
attend our 2 summer camps.  Prior to joining the LMCC staff, she worked for three
years as an assistant teacher for another local child care center.  Ms. Shay's
educational background includes certification in Child Development from North-
western, and she is currently studying to become a Christian Counselor.

Ms. Cheryl Harris
is a teaching assistant in the Primary Class each afternoon. 

During the day, she is a paraprofessional at Webster Parish Pre-K, and has been for
the past 23 years.  Ms. Cheryl received an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood
Education from Northwest Vocational Technical School.  She has been with LMCC
since 2010, and she loves working with young children and watching them progress
from one stage of development to the next. 


Ms. Lauren Williams
works as a floater, helping wherever she is needed, when she is

not attending class at Louisiana Tech University.  Currently she is working towards a
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.


Mr. Walker Williams works as an assistant in the After School Enrichment
Program each afternoon.  He is currently a senior at Glenbrook School.
